RULES FOR THE PARK AND PETS

 Rules & Regulations


Westex RV Park has implemented these rules and regulations for the safety, respect and comfort of all park guests as well as a clean community.

1.      All Federal, State, and Local laws must be obeyed.

2.      Quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

3.      Park residents are responsible for all guests visiting their site.

4.      Please treat your neighbors and Park Management with respect. No harassing, disruptive, aggressive, or threatening behavior toward other park residents, their guests, Park Management or contractors

5.      Sites are to be kept clean and neat. All household trash should be placed in dumpsters at the edge of the park.

6.      Cigarette disposal containers are available for cigarette butts. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground or where they might be blown around the park.

7.      Hazardous materials or foreign chemicals, including any kind of grease, cleaners, paint thinners, batteries shall be discarded properly and not anywhere on property.

8.      Small Bar-b-ques are allowed. Open fires, fire pits/fire rings are not allowed.

9.      Tents are not permitted.

10.  Gray water must be contained.

11.  Sewer hose must be connected either by using a threaded connector or rubber donut as required by Texas law. A tight, leak proof seal is mandatory at septic tie-in to prevent sewer gasses from escaping.

12.  Heated water hose or heat trace with insulating foam are required during winter months to prevent damage to the water tap.

13.  No working on or maintenance of vehicles in the park at any time.

14.  RV / vehicle washing is not permitted in the park

15.  Permanent structures are not allowed.

16.  Clotheslines are not permitted.

17.  No digging or erecting poles without approval of the management (including satellite dishes).

18.  Do not feed any stray or wild animals.
           

Consequences for not following park rules will be immediate removal from the park.
We have the right to refuse service to anyone.

Pet Rules

Effective September 1, 2019

 

The following rules must be followed by all pet owners.

 

1.       Park Management must approve all pets 

a.       before application to rent is accepted,

b.       to acquire a pet after moving into the Park,

c.        to acquire a new pet if current pet is lost or dies.

 

2.       In the event of offspring, Park Management must be immediately notified. For offspring to stay in the Park for a temporary period, not to exceed eight (8) weeks, written permission from Park Management must be obtained.

 

3.       Each pet must be inoculated in accordance with state and local laws. Pet owners must have proof of licensing and inoculation. If necessary, Pet owners shall submit proof to Park Management within seven (7) days of receipt of written requests for such information.

 

4.       Pet owners are responsible at all times for their pets, including injury, destruction, and annoyances to other residents, and the Park and Park Management shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind whatsoever caused by resident’s pet.

 

5.       All pets are required to be under the control and observation of their owner at all times whenever the animal is outside of the owner’s recreational vehicle. It is the owner’s responsibility to adhere to all state and local leash laws. No pet should be left tied up and unattended outside of the recreational vehicle. Short, non-permanent fencing is allowed upon approval from Park Management; however, no exterior pet housing is permitted.

 

6.       Each pet owner is required to immediately clean-up and properly dispose of all excrement created by their pet(s). Please do not allow your pet into other sites to do their business.

 

7.       Any pet running loose in the Park may be collected by Animal Control.  Park Management is not responsible for any actions or omissions on the part of Animal Control.  Recurring violations of this rule will lead to the loss of the privilege to maintain a pet.

 

8.       Farm animals and wildlife are not considered house pets and are not permitted.

 

If any of the rules regarding pets is violated, and such violation is noted by Park Management or a valid complaint is made by another Resident, the pet owner will receive an official notice in writing stating that the right to keep a pet within the Park is in jeopardy and/or terminated.

I have received and read a copy of Westex RV Park Pet Rules. Additionally, I agree to fully comply with the Pet Rules. I agree that my compliance with this policy is a condition of my pet being accepted into and allowed to remain within the Westex RV Park.
